Installation and Configuration of Local Area Network (LAN) Infrastructure

1.Introduction

Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council is inviting qualified companies or independent consultants to submit proposals for the installation and configuration of a local area network (LAN) at its new office located at Kicukiro, Rwandex.

The objective is to establish a stable, secure, and professional connection of all office units to a centralized server room.

2. Scope of Work

The assignment includes:

• Full installation of networking infrastructure across all office rooms
• Cable routing and proper tracking
• Equipment connection and setup in the server room
• Functional testing and system handover upon completion

All major hardware and networking equipment will be provided by Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council. The installer will be responsible only for the services and accessories listed below.

 

 Note: The entire installation must be completed within three four working days from the start date.

3.Responsibilities and Required Items

Accessories (e.g., vice, tape, silicone)	Supplied by installer
White Paint (for touch-ups if necessary)	Supplied by installer
Installation and Configuration Fee	To be quoted by installer

No additional items beyond those listed above should be included in the quotation, except for minor consumables or accessories that may reasonably be required to facilitate the installation. RAHPC will supply all major materials, equipment, and technical support necessary for the installation.

 

 

 

 

4. Site Visit

Interested parties may visit the installation site by appointment only.
Visits will be scheduled upon prior request.

5. Submission Requirements

All proposals must include the following:

• A detailed quotation with cost breakdown for the services and items listed
• Duration and plan for completing the installation within Four working days
• A company profile  with references to similar projects completed
• Tax clearance
• Any additional relevant certifications or licenses

 

6. Submission Deadline

All proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM on 4th August 2025.
Submissions will be made via email address: council@rahpc.org.rw and the submission should be named “Installation and Configuration of Local Area Network”
Late or incomplete bids will not be considered.
