Admission Requirements into Undergraduate Health-Related Programs

Resolutions of the Consultative Meeting on Admission Requirements into Undergraduate Health-Related Programs, convened on 03rd April 2025 by the Higher Education Council, the Ministry of Health, Health Professions Boards, and Higher Learning Institutions.

• Students with grades ranging from A to E in the new grading system (system of 2024) are eligible for admission and indexing.
• Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) retain the right to set their internal admission policies with entry requirements within A–E grades.
• Students who completed S6 before 2024 will be admitted based on the old “Two Principal Passes” requirement for a transition period of two (2) years.
• Eligible core high school subjects are: Biology and Chemistry, regardless of the combination.
